Desire for knowledge

When I was a kid I started thinking about how things are and came to be here on this world. I wanted to know what was really going on. The available knowledge was not satisfying and there were these big questions that couldn't be answered by anyone. Like the purpose of life and where we came from and why are humans different from the other animals. Religion claims to answer most of these questions but it is also vague and you are told to have faith and that is the way to be good and go to heaven etc...

I will try to answer these questions. But I think you should know now that I don't believe in what I call the Santa Claus like religions. They don't really make any sense.

Religion, if you scratch below the surface, is born out of the beliefs before it. It all comes from worshiping the sun and nature and luck to survive. It is all man made. It is now used as a source of power by the authorities. God if it exists, is different from anything we could understand or imagine and is not man made or if we can relate to God then it is man made and not god.

So you can begin the cathartic process of freeing yourself from any guilt served to you by religion.
